Mistral by the Sea

We stayed at this new complex for 17 nights in Feb - March 25. The hotel & rooms only opened in December so everything is brand new. Our stay was perfect, the location is ideal for both Trinity & Benaulim beaches and for the village restaurants. Our room on the 1st floor was large and was fitted with a big king-size * very comfy bed, kettle, large fridge, a/c and safe etc and was spotlessly clean. Our package also included breakfast each morning which was a great little extra. The service, staff and owners were brilliant, 10 out of 10! The property is owned run by a local family, Jasmine, Emmy & Katherine who own the other Mistral Holidays complex a few hundred meters away. The service & communication before arriving from Katherine was brilliant (thank you for the anniversary wine & flowers!), and once we arrived everything was perfect. Thank you also to Sunil on reception and Clifford in their restaurant Horses & Harleys, both who were outstanding, polite and very helpful. Anthea & I celebrated our wedding anniversary when we were there and we had a brilliant time at Mistral by the Sea. I am sure this new complex will be a big success and we wish Jasmine, Katherine and Emmy every success in this new venture. We will return for sure, we have been coming Benaulim, Goa since 2003 and this new complex is ideal for us. The Mistral team accommodated us at the last minute and we are thankful for that. The hotel is beautiful and very clean and has everything a world traveler would expect up to high standards. The pool and the sunset view is especially relaxing. Their restaurant has one of the best food we had eaten in town. The cook and staff are super friendly and accommodating to our tastes.the hotel is minutes to the beach. We will stay there next time for sure.

We feel so lucky to have found this brand new modern family run hotel. Rooms were spacious and clean, and although only there for three nights, bedding and towels were changed. Complimentary tea and coffee in the room, a fridge, air conditioning, and a huge fan plus flat screen wall mounted tv. The bed was very comfortable with high-quality bedding, and the wardrobe locked in order that valuables were protected. A family run business, all of whom we met and their main concern, was the comfort and happiness of the guests. All requests were accommodated for. It is a short distance into Benaulim town but just far out enough to ensure quiet and a good night's sleep. The nearest beach is just at the bottom of the road, which is a pleasant walk. We dined at Horses and Harleys, which was part of the hotel, and the food was exquisite and reasonably priced. The restaurant manager was very pleasant and attentive, and the chef experienced particularly in Goan food. The Chicken Cafreal was freshly prepared and delicious. Breakfast was mainly vegetarian with Pao Bahji, fruit, fruit juice, tea or coffee, toast, and a masalla omelette. One great feature of the hotel was the swimming pool area. Designed to have a view over the fields toward the ocean. We loved to watch the sun set over the fields with a cool breath of fresh air. It was a welcome break after the last month being so humid. All together at 10 from my wife and I for food service atmosphere cleanliness, and underground parking, if like us, you have driven down. Thank you to Kathleen and her Mum and Dad plus all the cleaning and auxiliary staff. I wish you every luck for the future. We will certainly return next season. Just to mention also for older visitors. The shallow end of the pool has full width steps into the pool, making it safe for entering and exit. Plus, although it is only 2 storey, we had a lift to all floors accommodating less able people.

We had an incredible experience at this modern and newly built hotel, located just a short walk from the beach in a quiet, non-touristy area. The view from our room was breathtaking! And it's such a pleasure to have everything clean! We booked an apartment, which was a fantastic choice. Having a fully equipped kitchen, a fridge, and all the necessary utensils made our stay even more convenient. The staff was exceptionally friendly and responsive. When we mentioned that we needed an extra mirror, they brought one within a few hours. We also requested an additional bath mat, and within 15 minutes, they provided two more! A great eco-friendly feature was the water filter in our apartment, allowing us to refill our bottles instead of buying plastic ones. There were also water stations around the hotel, which was a huge plus. The pool area was wonderful--clean, well-maintained, and very cozy. This is truly a perfect family-friendly place. Huge thanks to Emmy and his family for making our stay so special We cherish the memories of this amazing week at Mistral and will definitely be back!

A Perfect Family Retreat in Goa We had the pleasure of staying at this wonderful family-run hotel in Goa, and it was an unforgettable experience. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the incredibly friendly and attentive staff. They went out of their way to make us feel at home and provided us with fantastic tips on local attractions and activities. The hotel is very well-organized, which made our stay stress-free. Our room was stunning - spacious, beautifully decorated, and incredibly comfortable. The shower was a particular highlight, offering a refreshing and luxurious experience after a long day. The location is ideal, providing a peaceful haven amidst the vibrant atmosphere of Goa. As a family traveling for nine months with young children, we found this to be the perfect place to relax and recharge. We spent hours unwinding by the pool, which was clean and inviting. Another highlight was the hotel's affiliated restaurant, just a short walk away. The food was delicious, with a wide variety of options, and the service was as friendly as it was efficient. In summary, this hotel is an oasis of calm with outstanding service, great amenities, and an unbeatable location. We highly recommend it to families or anyone looking for a relaxing stay in Goa.

Had an amazing 3 days staying here. It's brand new so the rooms are in fantastic condition and the pool is the nicest we've experienced in India. They are still making improvements to the hotel but it has everything you need in a fantastic stay. Kathleen and Sunil are always available to help. Fantastic location, just a short walk from the beach and leisurely walk into the main street of shops and restaurants. We wish we could have stayed longer. Would definitely stay again.

Had a wonderful and seamless experience with Mistral by the Sea. The manager and the staff were super polite, helpful and understanding. I had no issues with the check-in or extending my stay as a matter of fact. The room was perfect to my liking with all the amenities needed , super clean and a minimalist yet classy touch to the ambience and decor of the room with state of the art technology in every room. The service was prompt with quick replies and clear instructions which must made my stay easier and more comfortable. The location is a 2 minute ride to eternity beach and a 8 min ride to Benaulium Beach. It's super quiet with lush trees around the property and a clean well maintained pool. Would be definitely choosing this as my next stay in the near future.

Stayed here for 5 days, and it did not disappoint. The staff and the owner are good people and always try to help with everything. Had an absolute blast, and the only sad part is we had to leave . The rooms are spacious, and the guy at the reception Sunil was very helpful with everything we needed. Thank you to Emmey and the team. Keep up the good work and see you soon.
