Farmagudi Residency

We booked a suite room for 4 days. They had showed us a room which was very well kept, clean n classy but gave us a shitty room. Dirty bathroom, smells of mould. And outside the suite was full of stray dogs n cows. The housekeeping is also useless. There's no food provided and there no food place nearby. Very unpleasant stay. Please do not opt this place for ur stay. A very horrible experience indeed.

We like Goa for various reasons. During our earlier visits, we have stayed in GTDC places like Mayem, Britonni, Calangute and Farmagudi. Considering our earlier experience, we chose to stay at Farmagudi for a specific reason. This time our visit was to visit Ramkrishna Math at Usgaon on Belgaon road, so we decided to stay at Farmagudi which was comparatively near. I got room on my arrival at Farmagudi Residency, room was good. But the worst part was there was no facilities for food, snacks or even Tea, coffee. GTDC has provided a kettle to make hot water but no ready-mix pouches were available. In the morning, if you search on road, none of the taparis were opened till 9-9.30 am. We searched in the markets, no such pouches are available. For lunch or dinner, since there was no facility, there was only one private restaurant after crossing the main road, more than 1 km. Bus services are available only uptp 8.30 pm so you can't go to Ponda or Panaji for goan food and come back to your place. More worst part was main road from Panaji to Ponda, facing this place even though it is not directly connected but has a very heavy traffic of heavy vehicles, containers and dumpers. On road, it has deep slope, hence provided with Rumbler strips acting as speed breakers makes high decible sound of breaking and noise of loaded material. During night, it was very difficult to sleep as you feel that you are staying on war front. GTDC and other concerned departments should look forward to overcome on this issue. Inside the campus of Farmagudi Residency, roads are very rough and not maintained properly. On the opposite side, there is a huge complex of colleges exists, but no food facilities are available. Only the good part was nearby Ganesh mandir, where you can visit.

Worst experience,they just thrown off my belongings which were shampoo and other things. Can't even use brain if it's a belonging of a customer just keep it for sometime.

Good Cottages for family. Place is far buzzing goa. Ideal for those loving silence with natural beauty

This is one of the oldest hotel found near Ponda. This is renovated and quality is not there. If you don't have any options, even then don't stay here!! Food is not available and vegetarian food you can get near busstand which is 3kms from this place. Even you might get in less price, but this place is not worth.

No facilty of Tea, Snacks, room service poor, located at a place where nothing is available at night. Have to drive long to get a Hotel to Eat.

Beautiful property. Their staff is very cooperative, friendly and sweet. They welcomed us with open arms and provided us with the best amenities. One of their staff said to us that whenever our guests enjoy their time in Goa it makes them really happy. It was really heart touching to hear such words from someone. We would recommend everyone to have a stay there.

The property is at excellent location, very scenic. Very close to the famous temples. Rooms are also clean. It was closed for tourists since few years and has started again recently. Restaurant served our food orders with prior notice.
