The Baga Marina Beach Resort and Hotel

A Wonderful Stay in North Goa! We had a fantastic experience at this resort during our recent trip to North Goa. The highlight of our stay was undoubtedly the courteous and helpful behavior of the staff - they truly went out of their way to make us feel comfortable and welcome. A special thanks to Samir, the manager, and the entire Housekeeping team for their exceptional service and warm hospitality. The food at the in-house restaurant was delicious, complemented by a pleasant natural setting that made every meal enjoyable. The location of the resort is another big plus - it's tucked away from the hustle and bustle, offering a peaceful atmosphere, yet just a short walk from the beach. Overall, it was a relaxing and memorable stay. Highly recommended for anyone looking to unwind in North Goa!

The hotel is located at the prime area of Baga beach. All the good restaurants and clubs are at 5 min walkable distance from here. The hotel has a huge swimming pool with a bar area where you can chill and have a sip of your favourite drink. The hotel offers a complimentary breakfast which has a variety of options. The hotel rooms are spacious and have a pool and garden view. Overall a good experience and pleasant stay at this hotel.

Baga Marina Beach you were just average!!!! Staff was very unprofessional and rude too at the reception. First impression itself was not so great.Breakfast didn't had much options and food was just average in taste. Rooms were ok with balcony and swimming pool view. Entrance of the resort is not at all appealing.Location was great which was just walkable distance from Baga beach. Hope they improve on their infrastructure too.

I recently stayed at this resort and was quite disappointed with the experience. While the property has an ancient charm that could be appealing, it is evident that it has not been maintained properly. The infrastructure feels dated, and many areas of the resort look neglected. One of the major letdowns was the swimming pool. The water was smelly and seemed unclean, making it unusable during my stay. This was particularly disappointing as it's one of the key amenities advertised. Additionally, the resort is not a beachfront property as implied by its marketing. You need to walk about 10 minutes to reach the beach, which might be inconvenient for those expecting direct beach access. Overall, while the resort has potential due to its historical vibe, the lack of maintenance and misleading location description make it hard to recommend. It would need significant improvements to justify the cost.

The hotel was preety good. It seemed little old but they maintained it well. The location is one of the biggest positive side. Tito's lane is just 5 minutes walk from the hotel. Pool was well maintained, but it's not heated pool. Breakfast options were pretty good. We used their airport drop facility and the cab fare wasn't high.

LOCATION: Easily accessible, close to TiTo's Lane. This is NOT a beachfront property. CHECK-IN/OUT: It was okay. We did not faced any issues. SERVICE: We felt that it was too slow, maybe they were understaffed. The staffs were doing not that good. With proper training, I can say that they can definitely improve their services. BREAKFAST: Although they have limited options, it was very good. IN-HOUSE TAXI SERVICE: They provide taxi services with reasonable rates. The security guard was very helpful in arranging us one. ROOM: We were hugely disappointed. They had given us a room which looked like a store room with air con facility. Very pathetic. The room was next to the rear gate where the kitchen staffs were trolling around to take their supplies constantly. No peace of mind. We had to ask for bath towels as there were none present when we checked in. The washroom cleanliness was NOT upto the mark of a resort. There was a seepage issue (photo attached) with the room. To add to the joy - the balcony door was not getting closed. It won't get locked. The ceiling fan was a master piece (photo attached). The marks on the blades are not rust or paint marks. These are dust accumulated over a period of time. Not sure when was this cleaned the last time. Unhygienic room in total and not safe at all. This property can definitely be managed well if they want. Overall I am rating it as 2/10.

"Disappointing Experience" The staff's behavior was rude and unprofessional. The breakfast was very disappointing - the same menu every day, and the taste was average at best. To make matters worse, they forced us to check out early, claiming other guests were waiting, which was untrue as there were no bookings for the room. This dishonesty and poor treatment ruined the experience. Not recommended.

About 25 mins to the beach, through town. Food a bit basic but tastes ok. Rooms bit run down but nice balcony. Good swimming pool. Bit of a party place so expect music late. Staff very helpful
