Calangute Residency (GTDC)

It was a pathetic experience in this stay.. room was not at all clean, water was flowing on the floor. Washroom door was broken and even the washroom mat was torn. Let me tell you about the fridge.... It was so dirty and smelly that I think it wasn't cleaned since ages. And top of that the behaviour of the staff (anil) was worst.. he don't know how to talk to their customers.. he was very rude and egoistic.. luckily we checked out the room next morning itself.. I won't suggest this place to any one.. especially "family".

I'll not suggest you to book a room here because of the following points: 1. You will find it hard to get mobile network coverage. 2. Parking problem specially if you are with a car. 3. Rooms are messy. 4. Their are lots of insect's roaming around in the room. 5. Broken bed ply wood. 6. Air Conditioner don't work properly. 7. Surrounding is not clean. Only plus point is that it is located at the walking distance from Calangute Beach.

My hotel room was not as shown while booking. It seemed they are providing fake photos on MMT booking page. The property which I booked was Cardozo guest house but this property doesn't even exists and I was accommodated in a substandard house. Facilities were nowhere near to my expectations. If you want to ruin your experience you go to this place. Below are my concern for the house: 1. Misleading photographs were presented while booking this hotel. 2. Frequent power cuts and no alternative to power backup. Not even a candle was provided during powercut in night. 3. Bed covers and pillow covers were very dirty. It seemed that those were not cleaned for weeks. 4. No towels or any kind of toiletries were given. 5. Room size were very small as compared to shown on photographs while booking. 6. Windows were semitransparent glass and there were no curtains on it. 7. Reception was some 200 mtr away from the actual hotel room. 8. Reception guys were very rude they didn't return my identity card even after checkout. They kept making excuse that they don't have it and finally they returned it after half an hour of argument.

Very reasonable price, v got it for only 660/night on MakeMyTrip. The Staff is amazing, call them if you can't find the location as it is just behind JS holiday guesthouse (green building). Rahul the manager, helps with arranging bike rentals, water sports, Goa tour 4 cheaper. & liquor delivery...u name it he's such a sweetheart & so helpful Nice big rooms with big balcony, parking space, 2min walk from the beach & 5min walk 4m restaurant & market. In the advertisement it says TV, Mirror etc. ~ but there is no mirror in shaa Allah some rooms, ~ TV but non of the channels work, as it's not paid ~ toilet but no toilet seat on it ~ no soap provided ~ cockroaches to give u company The good thing is the staff tries to fix the problem once informed :) toilet seat repaired, cockroaches taking care off. Amazing Customer service, Ashidur and Rahul are pretty cool. It's WORTH the PRICE had an amazing experience overall that we came back to stay here for another 4 days before leaving Goa

If you booked a room for 4 then also you will get 2 towels. If we tell them to clean the room, they don't change the bedsheets. If you take bike on rent from them, no proper helmets were given and bike was not maintain properly. We requested to change the bike then his reply was abhi nhi change hoga and cash will not be refunded. Doesn't have any view of beach from balcony or from any room window. You even can't enjoy in your room with sound on. If you want water then you have to walk for around 5-10mins then you'll find a waterfilter of this house. Would never recommend anyone to stay here. No wifi.

Worst place to stay. Room AC, fridge and TV all three were not functioning when we checked in. These guys somehow got AC and TV fixed by evening (5 hours after chekin) These people dont have car parking and will make u to park in someone's else property and that property owner will behave rudely and will demand keys of car else they behave like they are some kind of rowdy. These people didn't give us blanket and bedsheets. We had to get it in the midnight and first they completely refused to give. Don't waste money on this hotel. Try something else

I have stayed at this place for 4days and 3 night. It's a nice home. Calangute beach is at walkable distance. Also u have restaurant and wine shop nearby. So no need to worry about foods and drinks.

Don't ever dare to book this hotel.. don't waste your money.. rooms are different than pictures.. i'll say that.. hotel is different than pictures .. Worst condition on toilets.. dirty rooms.. beds.. you will get accused by (*Khatmal*) don't waste your money.. stay on beach either.. it's Better
