Mojigao

Fabulous spot in beautifully kept jungle gardens. A really relaxing place. Staff are all naturally super friendly (Joshua / Anthony and the lovely French lady Pascaline! Plus all the others. ) , which adds massively to the warm welcome. Unbelievably good food and service served throughout the day. The breakfasts serve until 3 pm ! And the choice is fabulous - we will really miss the breakfasts! We joined Ian ( supported by Paul) in the group yoga session each morning - which was great and a superb start to the day! Thoroughly enjoyed each session and would highly recommend joining in. We stayed in one of the beautifully appointed cottages which are dotted round the jungle garden. The attention to detail and thoughtfulness that has gone into this hotel is really impressive. And we really enjoyed the superb Friday afternoon live music by Zane. Would definitely recommend a stay at this place if you find yourselves in this part of India! Thank you we had a great stay.

The ambiance is amazing, the staff is nice and courteous and honestly beautifully designed restaurant. The menu too is really good, the calamari was perfectly cooked - Unfortunately 3 hours before it was served to me stale and stone cold. So was the baked fish. I'd also ordered prawns but wasn't brave enough to try them. Now the drinks - nice to have have lime seeds in one of the cocktails served.

A jungle resort that can be a mere cafe but also your luxury escapade, but not limited to just that!! Assagao has many cafes, restaurants and experiences waiting for explorers to come, find and live. This could also be a different but first stop if you are in Goa. On the way, the road to here would be a form of meditation in itself. You might find nature, buildings and places, that can leave you trapped in space time & within an era that's not long so ago. Mojigao has culture. This outlet also has breathtaking rooms set in between, what looks like a private forest. While you are in the rooms its highly unlikely for you to feel anything else other than the forest. And then you could walk right into the cafe within the property and have some good veg + seafood food options. The place is also a centre for various experiences that takes place almost everyday. Visitors to the cafe, are free to explore the entire property and feel what it feels like to live inside a beautifully maintained forest and take that back with them, for the cost of a coffee. This place is just what perfection must look and feel like. While I was there, I loved everything that I ate from here. 10/10.

I stayed at Mojigao to treat myself for my 50th birthday, and I don't even know where to begin--everything was simply perfect. My room was beautifully prepared with a special touch for the occasion. My birthday started with a morning yoga session in a stunning outdoor yoga space surrounded by nature. Of course, I also treated myself to a massage at their peaceful spa. I had all my meals at the hotel, and I must say, they exceeded my expectations--everything was absolutely delicious. Their complimentary services were a lovely touch as well; you receive a cocktail and a small tapas. The cocktail I had was made with a local liquor, which was unique and tasty. Above all, the staff were so warm and welcoming, making my birthday truly special. Thank you so much--I'll definitely be back for another stay!

We came with our three friends, to have an early lunch on a Tuesday. Because we were there before twelve, we couldn't jave a gin and tonic, but a beer was fine. From our previous visit we remembered their gorgeous platter, where they come round with all the small dishes and you can choose which ones you want. They only serve this on Saturday, so we went for the mezze plate. We were not very impressed. The presentation was beautiful, as the ambiance and service is, but the plate was quite bland. We are going again, though, because it is lovely there.

I had an absolutely delightful stay at Mojigao! The rooms are stunning, the staff is wonderfully warm and friendly, and the location is perfect if you're after a serene escape. We even joined the yoga classes--such a relaxing touch. The team went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. One night, after returning late, we ordered some sweets from the bakery, and they surprised us by putting it on the house. It's those thoughtful little gestures that really stand out. Oh, and the food? Incredible! The croissants were so good they made me question every one I had in France. Highly recommend!

Only visited the restaurant...did not stay at this property. Service was prompt but the food was just average (had veg burger, avocado sandwich and some beverages). Ambience and decor are really good. Seems that one is in the midst of a jungle. However, a dog (without a collar) was roaming around inside the restaurant and that too very close to the guests. It appeared that he was a regular there as the waiters/owner did not mind and were patting it. So, beware if you are not fond of dogs coming close to you or if you are not comfortable with people serving you with the same hands with which they have patted.

Beautiful place, must visit if you are a nature lover- lush green with variety of plants! Very peaceful yet great vibe. With live music, Mojigao has Artjuna cafe that serves good food! Amazing blend of art and food can be found here.
