The main reason why to love this place is because is extremely pet-friendly. with it comes safety, greenery and tranquility. I stayed for one week during the Diwali holidays, and this was the first time to travel far from home with my cat. Therefore, my priorities were safety and nature. I was also worried about the crackers during the holiday but nothing could be heard. It was such a relief. I know my cat enjoyed the place and that made it all worth it. Avinash and team were very friendly and prompt in their service. He would always be available anytime whether in person or through call. During my last day I had a small incident in which I needed to visit the doctor, and they were kind enough to take me to the clinic as soon as possible. I was lucky enough to stay in two different rooms. The one with the terrace and the normal one. All rooms are clean and spacious. Of course, if possible, go for the room with the private terrace. Though nature is just one step away wherever you stay, it just gives a different kind of charm, and price difference won't be that significant. The best thing about the terrace, is also that becomes more quiet during the evening. Sometimes there is live music coming from the restaurant which is much more audible from the interior rooms if you are looking for total peace. Though the music is nice, it can be a bit noisy if you just want silence or wish to sleep early. Luckily we didn't face any issues with the ammenities. While there was hot water available all the time (too much hot since I was unable to regulate it!), AC also worked constantly. I have no words to describe the pool area. Along with nature, it is definitely the best place to be. It is calm, spacious and being surrounded by so much greenery is priceless. The place wouldn't be the same without it. Despite the heat, the surroundings always feel fresh. My only suggestion would be to add more variation in the free breakfast option. As per my knowledge, the available items were same throughout the week. Being on a holiday, one would wish to try different things so adding a little bit more of diversity would have been appreciated. You can also rent a bike from them. So becomes very comfortable for commuting. This is the place to go if you are searching for a safe and friendly place. Nature, animals and silence. I am also very thankful to other guests I encountered during my stay. They were all very friendly, polite and loved to interact with my Lobo!

I had stayed at the Botanique pool view room in the last week of December 2022, and it was an amazing experience. The room was spacious, had a bedroom, a living room and a kitchen with a dining area. The interiors as well as the exteriors were very well designed with select furniture and decor pieces. It had a very boutique-style yet homely vibe. The surrounding area is quiet and serene with chirpy bird sounds. The service was excellent. Avinash, the manager made sure we get everything we need and that our stay is extremely comfortable. Even the other staff and the cleaning ladies did their job wonderfully. The pool was clean too. There was ample parking space. Sam, the owner also had visited to check on the guests to make sure everything is good. Overall, a beautiful experience.

Thank you for hosting me and my mother on the occasion of her birthday. We had a wonderful experience staying at this lovely property. Especially because of the great service provided by Avinash and team. They were super prompt and efficient, definitely an asset to the property. The rooms are massive! With a kitchenette and a sofa bed that can easily accommodate a bigger family. The bedroom has a four poster bed and a cute terrace to lounge and have your breakfast after a swim. The pool is one of the best parts of the property, huge and beautiful. There is a restaurant and a clothing store inside the premises, along with many other popular ones.. all within walking distance. And there's ample parking space for your vehicle. I'd give a 6 star rating if it was possible! There was nothing really that I didn't like, but I guess the kitchen could have some sort of cooking arrangement.. an induction stove or a toaster atleast because it's pretty much redundant right now. A fire TV stick would also be a great addition. Hot water was an issue because of the solar heating. Other than that everything was great!

Our accommodation was a spacious, nicely decorated suite of bedroom/bathroom and combined lounge/diner/kitchenette. It does not have cooking facilities and is better for preparing cold food or takeout meals. It didn't have much natural light (looking onto a block of flats on a few metres away). ||There was plentiful hot water for showers and air con and overhead fans. BBC news and English language films available on the tv.||However we hadn't realised that the outside terrace space is entirely occupied by a Japanese restaurant. The two areas for guests to relax and enjoy the garden are shabby and uncomfortable. There are metal chairs and tables with no cushions and sun loungers with thin plastic cushions. The pool towels are small and threadbare. There is nowhere to get a coffee/snacks etc unless you eat at the Japanese restaurant! ||The pool itself is clean and cold. The pool-surround needs some care, as do the paths around the garden (broken/missing). It really feels as though this is all about the restaurant and intagrammable photos, and not the enjoyment of guests. ||A properly patio'd area for loungers/wicker sofa and chairs? would have been wonderful. We had meant this as time to chill by the pool but instead spent much of it watching TV.||The staff, especially Avinash, were lovely. The rooms were kept very clean (daily).

The story: This was my partner's first visit to India, and I wanted him to see Goa and spend some relaxing time with my parents to get to know them. We booked Botanique for 5 nights, and looking at the reviews it looked wonderful. I will be as neutral as I can be in this review as I shall give the credit where due, but also would like to mention a few things which can be improved, and maybe help others before booking. PROS: If you are a fan of solace, less crowds and want peace, this is your place to go to. Situated within the mighty tall trees of Assagao, extremely quiet and peaceful, rooms with plenty of space, lovely views to look at whilst having breakfast. A wonderful swimming pool surrounded by trees and sitting area where you can relax and sunbathe. CONS: As much as I loved the peace and quiet, I would like to take a moment to write about the management team who work with Botanique. We were welcomed with all smiles, and a few days prior to our arrival, I had ordered a package for myself which had already been notified to the owner about, and I was assured that their management will receive it in case I am out, so I should not worry about it. When my package arrived, I was right at the property, and received an email instead saying that the delivery attempt was made but was sent back. I went out and asked the guard who was responsible for the parking if he had seen a delivery guy, and he casually tells me that he sent him away. It was extremely disappointing to know this as I had informed it to the owners, as well as the management and they made a decision in spite of me being at the property. We had to drive all the way into the narrow lanes of Mapusa and it was an extremely difficult night to locate the courier place, due to which we had an extremely late dinner. The room we were provided with has a capacity of four people as it comes with a living room and a bedroom. The living room has two single beds, and the main bedroom has a wonky large double bed. The plates, bowls provided to us were only two and no microwave either if you wanted to warm up your food for later. (If I am paying Rs. 34,000 for five nights, I would want to expect at least basic facilities.) The last night before our check out on the next day, the electricity went off at 5 am, and we had a train to catch for the next eight hours. We contacted the property manager requesting this to be fixed as we all slept with discomfort but realised that they only have a generator for the main restaurant and pool area. Whereas, the residences run on inverter which stops after 5 hours. The electricity finally showed up at 7 am. I met my family after two years and hence wanted to give them a nice relaxation time but it turned out to be a little disappointing. The management has no answers, and the owner does not respond. To provide compensation for this discomfort, we were given complimentary laundry services (which was alright). The place is alright, but can be improved so much in terms of basic facilities.

A quaint bed and breakfast situated in the heart of Assagao. The manager Avinash is an amazing host and made our stay super comfortable. Pros - A walk away from the best restaurants Quiet and away from the touristy parts of Goa In the same complex as Izumi Has a nice pool Rooms are large Cons - The rooms are a bit basic. Not ideal if one is going for luxury or a trip with friends. Dimly lit rooms I loved the place :)
