Resort Lagoa Azul

An exceptional stay at this incredible hotel! I've been here before, and every time, the experience is perfect. The hotel is ideally located in Goa, making it the perfect place to fully enjoy the region. The staff is simply outstanding--professional, always smiling, incredibly kind, and truly wonderful people. They are absolute gems! The manager, Umesh, is also very attentive and always ready to help. The restaurant, Tabla, offers a diverse and delicious menu. The breakfast changes every morning, bringing great variety, and the authentic Indian food is simply excellent. A must-visit in Goa--I highly recommend it 100%!

This hotel is very nice to stay and also quite place. The best place for families with kids. Pool gets cleaned everyday and also staff is very nice and helpful. The best person in the hotel is Umesh I think he is the manager who handles everything there but his nature is very helpful and always smiling. The best person there he will take care of all your requirements and will guide you as well. Just because of this guys Umesh I will surely visit again.

Rooms are large in size. Although the property is old, it is well maintained. The fan isn't directly above the bed, and the AC takes some time to cool down the room, so it makes it uncomfortable in summers. The washrooms do not have any ventilation.

This was our first time in Arpora and will not be our last. The hotel was recommend by a friend and it did not disappoint. There are two parts to this hotel and both have a pool. We were happy with the service at breakfast and Guru made sure we had everything we needed. It was very relaxing and near to a few bars and restaurants. We did eat at the hotel a few times and the food was good and tasty. The manager Umesh was most helpful when i had a fall and had to be taken to hospital. The staff were all concerned when i got back to the hotel. The rooms are cleaned every day and towels and sheets changed regularly. We used the shuttle to Baga beach regularly and the driver was appreciative of our R100 tip. We will definitely choose this hotel again.

We've been numerous times, the last trip, before this one, being 10 years ago. The hotel is as peaceful & welcoming as it's always been. |The rooms, while tired & in need of updating, were serviced daily. Clean towels & sheets every time. The bed was very firm & uncomfortable, we spoke to reception who immediately had another mattress sent over. Nothing is ever too much trouble. |The pool lads are ace, ladies sweeping the leaves are friendly & always have a smile. Without exception the receptionists are great. Food in the restaurant is excellent, staff always wanting to help. Tbh, the only bad thing I can say is about an event on our last night. We ate at the restaurant, when the bill arrived it was 2,100 rupees more than it should have been. Before we even explained the problem, a flustered waiter was saying it was a mistake & he would sort it out. I so hope it was a genuine mistake, but I'm not sure it was. |Overall the hotel is delightful & we'll be returning.

The resort is in a quiet location but near all the restaurants bars etc.|Firstly, the building itself is very dated. The remedial work carried out IE painting is off very poor quality and there are paint spills everywhere, handrails floors etc. this gives the place a shabby look.|Secondly,|The rooms are run down and are in desperate need of refurbishment.|Thirdly.|The pool area has grass growing between the pavias, this again looks shabby.|Despite the above the rooms and public areas are very clean.|However, the staff are wonderful and are a pleasure to interact with, the restaurant staff in particular, offering a reasonable choice for breakfast .|I am not sure that I would return to this hotel but I would return to the area.

Hotel is in need of refurbishment and is a little rundown. This said, the shortcomings are made up for with the staff. The staff are very friendly and helpful. They all go out of there way to make sure you have an enjoyable stay. |The hotel is close to local amenities and restraunts. The beach is a taxi ride away. The bus stop is in close proximity with regular buses to Candolin and Galamgute.|I would definitely reccomend, just be aware that the hotel could do with some refurbishment.

Just returned from a 14wk holiday with my wife the hotel staff food and service 5.star everytime the hotel is in a quiet location with 2 swimming pools lovely restaurant with amazing staff baga beach 10mins away which the hotel does a free shuttle bus each way 5 to 6 times a day will be going back again next year for 3.months.and a big thank you to Umesh the Manger and all the staff for making our holiday amazing.| Barry/Michele | Southampton UK
