Hotel Bricks, Karol Bagh, New Delhi

I got this hotel booked from booking. Com where it was an option for no prepayment. However, they started calling us from morning to pay and we told them that we will reach around 2 pm and then will pay. But when we reached at the hotel they refused saying that there is no room left which was very frustrating. Moreover, the man at reception was very rude and did not have any manners to talk. Would not recommend this place to anyone.

SCAM! DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL! I have been travelling around India for over a month now and have never had an experience this bad, I have also never been asked to make any prepayment. This hotel made us process a prepayment and overcharged us for two extra nights and said we would be refunded at the end of our booking then at checkout refused to refund us. The hotel manager told us that the accounts department won't allow for a refund and then put us on the phone with someone who was definitely not the accounts department. I think the accounts department doesn't exist to be honest and was just an excuse to not refund us for the two nights that we did not book for. Do not stay here under any circumstances you will be scammed and overcharged. This is so disheartening because I was only ever met with kindness and honesty at all other hotels/accomodation around India but my experience at Hotel Bricks has been so traumatic and dishonest. If I can give any advice to any other travellers; please do not stay here! It is unnecessary stress for such an otherwise beautiful country.

Don't fall for what they show!! Booking clearly said "Pay at the hotel" on the day of check-in got 3 calls to pay in advance... On the second call told them that I am on the way and can't pay as I am driving - they said Okay sir... Then on the third call... When I was in middle of delhi traffic they said they've sent the QR and I need to pay... Made me furious as there was risk of traffic fine on using phone and there was no way I could pull aside to do the same... Reached hotel right at the ETA conveyed to them during all the three calls... Still we were denied room saying we did not pay in advance... When confronted started giving lame excuses like booking.com rules etc. But they could not show anything concrete. There was no official mail/message quoting we need to pay to ensure room. How can I pay on a random QR from an unknown number... Seems against govt policy as well... I could hear his superior/hotel owner on phone "saaf mana kar de, jab phone kiya tab pay kyu ni kiya" (bluntly say no, why didn't they pay when asked for) When I complained to the reception why did they called thrice as we were getting disturbed he said... "3 kya main toh 6 baar karunga" (why thrice I would even call 6 times) And they claim of being from hospitality industry (owner/superior/front desk) And then they show some shabby room in another hotel as a replacement... What a shame..

I loved the location of the hotel, as it's near Karol Bagh metro and the market, making shopping and travel very convenient. The service was great, and the reception staff was friendly and supportive. I had a great experience.

Good hotel in the economic range. Staff is very cooperative.

room was clean and maintained the hygiene and well service, the neat corridors, or the friendly interactions with the staff, From check in to check out, our stay was good, The air conditioning was effective and quiet, I recommend bricks hotel to anyone looking for a stress-free and enjoyable stay

1. Hotel is actually good, but at the time of checkout, they tried to charge 300-400 rs extra from me. When I explained them that total cannot be this much, rather than accepting - he tried to justify the bill saying " wo drinking water ka paisa add kia hai" But I again explained them that we didn't drink purified water, rather normal water. then he finally agreed to remove the excessive money from bill. Won't recommend this hotel ...leak from toilet disgusting.....very tiny rooms.. receptionist try to rip me off when requested for taxi to airport he suggested rs 1500 but when I booked on rapido only costed me rs 300
