Hotel Diamond

The hotel location was good but interior not good at all.The toilet flush doesn't work in one of the bathrooms..no canteen to serve tea,coffee.. altogether not a good hotel to stay.

It is amazing how you feel great after staying in a dilapidated, damp hotel with worn out furniture and furnishings simply because of out of the world services. We booked it last moment because all the other hotels were sold out (this is frequently the case with Daman which is a cheap alcohol and not so decent sea beaches). It came in very cheap and the hotel rooms also did not look like something we would generally go for but the ratings were amazing so we took a chance. ||The hotel is close to the market place in between residential buildings so done expect a great view. The rooms are quite old and damp. The AC works only if you are lucky and very lucky if its not too noisy. We had to change our rooms twice to get a decent one. They have a parking lot but only a few cars can be accommodated.||Now the service - The check in was very quick with bell boys helping us with the luggage. When we asked for a change of room, no questions were asked. Be it water, starters or anything else we asked for, the waiters were right outside the door the moment we finished ordering. The manager also checked a few times to know if everything was okay. The best part is that they serve fresh meals even after midnight. They have a decent restaurant on the ground floor which serves amazing Indian breakfast. ||||Overall - I will not suggest you to stay for more than a night in this hotel but for what it costs, this will be your best choice in this range.

Overall good experience, but can be better. The hotel building it self looks old. The rooms are ok, ok... Ours was deluxe rooms. The window Ac is very old and was making some noise, but nothing that will disturb your sleep... The restaurant in this hotel is good... But some what expensive... Liquor sold here cost you 20% more than the MRP, Which is illegal but that's how it works... Overall i felt like i over spent on this hotel than what i should have...

The location is good with both bus and taxi stand is quite close. The room is good with clean bedsheets, bathroom is also clean and hygienic. Room service is not so good, they were late is doing service and we had to call a lot of times but the staff was well behaved. P.S. If you are going for driving then it is also good with drinking facilities available. But outside drinks are not allowed.

Lovely delightful experience. Very good service. Staff are extremely courteous and welcoming and attention to detail is spot on. Enjoyed the afternoon tea and there really is far too much to eat in one sitting - no problem, if you like, the staff will box any remainders for you and leave in your room. Everything was very pleasant and looking forward to returning when we next have to be in Daman

This was my second stay at this hotel. Good rooms at affordable price, however washroom/bathroom needs improvement. Food was great, but waiting time was too much, we had to wait almost half an hour for our order. Overall, If you need stay at reasonable price, I would definitely recommend it.

I went with my friend to stay at these hotel. Room was good, but not worth as per the price was charged. Service was ok.|When it come to food we asked for egg curry and green salad. Green salad came without onion, we asked for onion waiter said when you order green salad and some curry, onion comes with curry and not in green salad. These answer was not expected from the waiter. |WiFi- not working|Tv- not working.|I highly don't recommend these place

Good service and courteous staff.....that's why the single star. No hot water at 2300 hrs Old fashioned air conditioning - too noisy Extremely untidy bathrooms - railway waiting room has a better one Extremely unkempt room - railway retiring rooms are far better. Absolutely NOT WORTH the three digit tariff that we oaid for the 7 hours spent.
