Piccadily, Raipur

SALT by Piccadly is an underrated gem! I visited on a Sunday evening, and it was pleasantly quiet with no rush or crowds. The food options were excellent, offering a great variety to choose from. The prices were reasonable, especially for the quality of the dishes. The service was also top-notch--attentive and friendly. Highly recommend giving this place a try if you're looking for a relaxed dining experience with great food and value!

Worst hoteling experience ever. i was on a work trip and was staying with them, left for work in the morning came back in the evening. my things were messed up and used, i went to the reception and asked if somebody had entered my room and they said house keeping did go in. they were both called in the gm's office and questioned by me because the gm didnt say anything to which they obviously denied. The GM then turns to me and tells me that i am making a big deal out of it and it is all normal for them to do this. i asked him to make me talk to the owner to which the GM told me that i am not wealthy enough to talk to the owner. If you want to lose things and get no answers go to this hotel.

Our 30+ Day Stay at Piccadilly Best: * Rooms are immaculately cleaned. * Housekeeping staff provide excellent service. * Ample parking spaces available. * Swimming pool is great for recreation. * Breakfast is fantastic with a wide variety of options. Worst: * No hot water in the washroom (a consistent issue). * Air conditioning is good but frequently turned off for 3-4 hours a day. * Poor response time from staff to address concerns. Note: security guard behavior is not good

Worst manager and receptionist. They have very small length bed. Average height human cannot fit. Staff do not even accept they have small beds. Neither they are ready to measure the length when I challenge to measure. Not helpful in providing extra cot. Do not stay if you want a good night sleep.

We stayed more than 30 days in this hotel *Worst* - I have never seen HOT WATER in Washroom. - Air conditioning is good but frequently (Afternoon) turned off for 4-5 hours a day. - If you pay the laundry or food bill when checkout time they will as again. - Above this worst situation they are not responding in time. *Best* - Rooms are well cleaned. - Housekeeping staff provide excellent service. - Good Parking places. Best hotel near Raipur University, NIT and AIIMS. Rooms are in good shape with all amenities Has enough parking space outside Spread in three floors Small swimming pool. Has three event halls for 50 to 150 pax approx. A restaurant Salt at lower ground facing pool A bar Whistle ( though not operational) Overall a nice choice

DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL UNLESS YOU WANT TO REGRET IT. My experience at Piccadilly Raipur was an unmitigated disaster. The staff's behavior was appalling, especially the night duty staff on November 19, 2024. When we struggled with heavy luggage, they refused to help, smirking and saying, "Ab toh logon ko independent hona chahiye" (People should be independent now). This condescending remark left us fuming. To add insult to injury, the hotel's prices were grossly inflated compared to online rates. We booked in front of them, which seemed to annoy them further. The facilities were in shambles: - Swimming pool: Unmaintained, with plant vases in corners attracting swarms of white insects crawling into the pool. (I couldn't take pictures, but trust me, it was revolting.) - Reception: Infested with mosquitoes, making it difficult to even sign the register. When I complained to the manager, he nonchalantly said, "Open spaces always have mosquitoes." Why not use repellents, then? The staff's incompetence, lack of empathy, and poor maintenance make Piccadilly Raipur a hotel to avoid. Don't waste your money or risk your sanity.
