Surprising to see many negative reviews. This hotel actually offers a very good stay and experience. The rooms are big and clean. It was so exciting to see almost every channel (including the south) available on DTH. The crystal chandelier in the foyer is a special attraction. Bamboo plantation outside the restaurant gives a picnic kind of feel

After a disappointing stay at a "luxury resort", we were prepared for the worst in this "no name" property which we chose in close proximity to the train station for an overnight stay to catch an early morning express.||To our most pleasant surprise, the experience was very good.||A great entry foyer and arrival lounge, very polite and courteous young lady (she said she was from Bengal) with a great sense of humor, at the reception (pity, I didn't take her name).||Basic, but well-appointed room. Good wi-fi. ||Wish the bed linen was newer and better.||Couldn't stay for breakfast.||A question (which nobody could answer): |Rather unusual for a city like Raipur in the huge heartland of India, to have a hotel chain (I believe there are three properties of the same name) called "Babylon". Any link to Mesopotamia? ||Would appreciate a response.

Complete waste of your money, Trust me if you even by mistake stay in this hotel you would hate yourself for rest of your entire life. It is pathetic place to stay even if it is offered for free. No maintenance at all, bathrooms clog, no proper taps in bathroom. No proper bed. You can hear the mobile calls from your next room .. oh God.. hopeless hotel in total.

The rooms are large, the furnishing needs replacement, no face towel. The washroom warm water is practically not available. The AC was switched off from the console which was operated by me. The washroom soap was only one bar. Electrical gadgets needs maintenance.

Babylon is really lucky as google doesn't have(-) in a rating. This hotel literally scams people to get more money. I was booking from Makemytrip and to confirm I called this hotel front desk to know the price of the room. I was getting 10k price on Makemytrip for an executive room for 2 nights, while I was told here that I shall get the same room at 7k and so ofcourse I had to go for offline booking. I came here and spent my 2 nights however when I came for checkout, to our surprise, they showed us a bill of 7k per night. We raised this concern how it was conveyed. Also to add on to this, they brought in a towel that I used after face wash where part of my foundation was stuck. This gets cleaned when you wash the towels but they declined and said the towel will be discarded which raises my doubt if they even clean the cloths. This is the worst experience anyone could have with no cooperation.

This hotel cleanliness is such a pathetic,the towel and bed linens are in a such condition as if they have not been washed since ages. When I called for discussion with GM and other staff some if then we're busy in meeting and GM was in a cricket match. I have never had such a poor experience in my 20 years of travelling.
