Hotel Avalon in

Pathetic service at hotel, people aren't aware of iota of hospitality. Had asked housekeeping to clean the bathroom since it wasn't tidy even before we checked in. Housekeeping lady came in arguing that it had been clean before, said if you use it will get dirty (as if we didn't know that). We explained her it was not clean earlier. She still kept arguing, but still cleaned it unwillingly. Finally left the room loudly banging room door behind her. Our friends in another room shared similar experience.

The reception desk took more than enough time for check-in process. The on duty reception executive told that since I had booked from Agoda.in, it was a little bit difficult for them to speed up the check-in process. He told that had I booked from another travel site, it would have been much easier for them to complete the check-in process quickly. The room was also not up to the mark. Cockroaches were roaming inside the room. The extra mattress and pillow provided was also in a very bad condition, torn and dirty. The interior was quite shabby and bit in dilapidated condition. No tea/coffee/milk pouches were being provided despite a Kettle was available in the room. The washrooms were also not up to the mark. The geyser in the bathroom was also not functioning properly. Despite complaint, the room service desk could not get it rectified.

Hotel is decent Suitably priced and has great selection of foods. Rooms are okay not way too good. Bathroom is clean Gallary is scenic Supportive staff.

Stayed from 9 Dec to 11 Dec'24 alongwith around 35-36 guests. Almost the full hotel was booked and occupied by us. The staff and Management have very little idea about hospitality. Arrogant General Manager, Mr Bivas K Rana can put off anyone with his inflexible and rigid attitude. Their F&B Manager is a waiter-in-a-tie.... nothing more. He has no decision-making powers and very little understanding of how to understand the customer or how to "look after the guests". Overall, a poor and forgettable experience. Not to mention the seepages all across the building, reflective very poor upkeep and maintenance. Only saving grace was their room service staff, who were trying their best to cover for the Management's failures.

Nice hotel im budget range of 2000 and food Facilities available When needed

It's in Bhilai a convenient location, especially for those visiting the Bhilai Steel Plant and needing proximity to the railway station. The hotel has a clean reception area and is known for its courteous staff, although the rooms receive mixed reviews--adequate but showing signs of needing lot updates, if you are looking for 3 Star and above I won't recommend base on the two rooms we stayed in two nights. The food is generally considered decent, though noted room service and amenities must need improvement. Staffs were quite decent and Courteous, no questions about them..

Hotel is worst according to price.. the good thing is location... Hotel is extremely poorly managed... Staff are terrible....front desk guys were indifferent... Watchman who engaged in mobile only.. he didnot even guide for car parking... They dont have work etiquette... Rooms are poor quality. Bathroom door was not getting closed & Geyser not working... leaky plumbing & missing amenities... Room bed condition is poor.. Mirror is scratched all over... After sometime of check out the rooms hotel staff called us & ask for money to make doormate stained.....like really I wanted to write more but i think it is waste of time literally... very dissatisfied & disappointed..

Worst service till date and price is too high, room is not worth it
