Bastar Jungle Resort

Bastar Jungle Resort is a fantastic place for a peaceful getaway amidst nature. We visited for a picnic, and the experience was absolutely wonderful. The resort is surrounded by lush greenery, offering a refreshing escape from the hustle and bustle of city life. The scenic views all around were breathtaking, making it a perfect spot to relax and enjoy the beauty of nature. The rooms were well-maintained, spacious, and comfortable, providing a cozy stay. The staff was friendly and accommodating, ensuring that our visit was pleasant. The resort had a serene and calming ambiance, making it ideal for nature lovers, families, and even solo travelers looking for some quiet time. One of the most delightful surprises was a small, playful dog at the resort. This little doggo was incredibly cute and full of energy, running around and playing with everyone. It added a warm and homely touch to our experience. Whether you're looking for a relaxing stay, a picnic spot, or just a break from routine, Bastar Jungle Resort is a great choice. Our stay was delightful! The reception staff was incredibly accommodating, even allowing an early check-in during the wee hours on a cold night. The breakfast served in the morning was excellent, and the staff throughout the resort were exceptionally cooperative. The serene and lush surroundings added to the charm, truly living up to its name as a Jungle Resort. The ambiance was peaceful and refreshing, providing a perfect escape into nature. The only downside was the condition of the approach road to the resort, which could use some improvement. Despite that, the overall experience was memorable, and we would love to visit again!

Property was good but was not maintained properly.They are very good at saying NO....this is not available that is not available!!Even we booked for 3 meals package but they were not willing for lunch.Never celebrated the new year in such a compromised manner

We loved Bastar Jungle Resort, and we were well looked after by the very kind Mr Gerrard and his team. The resort is set away off the beaten track, surrounded by forest. The dawn and dusk birdsong of the forest was very special, and I slept unbelievably well. The rooms were enormous, with comfy beds, and huge bathrooms with excellent showers and hot water. The rooms and bathrooms were very clean and it was great to have the space to spread out stuff after a number of days of dusty travelling. The large verandahs attached to the rooms were perfect for sitting out for our evening tipple before heading to supper. It was calm and peaceful and we were sorry to leave. To manage expectations, the resort does need a little love and attention, and a good gardener is needed to tame some of the out of control plants which would benefit from cutting back, but on the other hand, we all just thoroughly enjoyed the slightly wild nature of the place, and the peace. And we much enjoyed meeting Mr Gerrard.

Food and service is nice but the location is very interior. Fully Forest area

The Resort is situated in the heart of the jungle nd also so peaceful here we enjoyed a lot of fun and food. One day is enough for stay nd the staff was also very nice and friendly
