Hotel Lovely Palace

I had high expectations based on the reviews, but this hotel turned out to be a complete disaster. The rooms were filthy, with stained sheets, dusty furniture, and a musty smell that made it hard to breathe. The air conditioning barely worked, and the bathroom was a nightmare--leaky faucets, clogged drains, and mold on the walls. Housekeeping was non-existent, and when I requested clean towels, they took hours to deliver them. The food was even worse. The restaurant claimed to serve fresh meals, but everything tasted stale and reheated. The portions were small, the presentation was sloppy, and the taste was bland at best, awful at worst. To top it off, the service was painfully slow, and the staff seemed completely disinterested in helping customers. I even found a hair in my food, and when I complained, they acted like it was no big deal. This place is a complete rip-off. Poor hygiene, terrible service, and overpriced food make it one of the worst hotel experiences I've ever had. Save yourself the frustration and stay somewhere else!

Poor food quality.., They stored food for very long time and and the quality of the food is pathetic expect brekfast. Please don't waste your money here.

They have two hotels next to each other under the same management - Hotel Lovely Palace and Asish International. I prefer staying at the Lovely Palace side. The suite rooms are amazing value for money. Great size - good for long stays. For the budget, the rooms is very well appointed with top-end Jaguar fittings in the bathroom. The bed and pillow quality was good.||||The complimentary breakfast will be served in room on request. One great thing about this place is that they serve a meal in the quickest possible time.||||The staff are very helpful, and gave me access to a computer for printing, etc. whenever I needed to. The package includes complimentary internet connection, which has a pretty decent speed.||||I believe the staff training needs to be improve. Even though they are very helpful, they have not yet come out of their rustic mould, and do not really understand the need of business travellers. The DG set plays havoc at times. The hotel does not have a good gym, and you can not take a walk outside owing to the crowd. However, if you walk 100 meters towards the Bhilai Power House station, there are

STAY AWAY. Old, poorly maintained place. Dirty floors, walls, broken window bringing in mosquitoes, noise and dust. Odd window in bathroom compromising privacy, dead lights, no utensils or basic amenities, drinking water.. this is the story of the suit room. The food bill was almost as much as rent! The food was tasty though and service staff were nice. The receptionist/manager was not wearing mask when the city was at the top for new infections.

No hot water, no remote for AC, no clean pillows, no bed lamp, no mini bar, shower pathetic spraying jets at different directions, ALL OF THIS IN SUITE ROOM, Also laid back and impolite staff. I DON'T RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL. but food is good

The hotel is suitable for short business trips as it's not so far from industrial area and is budget priced.||Rooms are ample but cleanliness is poor and a lot of noise comes from the street in front. Bathtub should be renovated and AC is not adjustable.||Breakfast buffet should contain also food for people from abroad.||The staff is polite but its efficiency is variable.

The rooms are spacious with two sofas and a big bed. To do office work too they have a good table with good wifi connection. There are sufficient number of plug points for charging your electronic gadgets.|The food is also good, but the idli for breakfast will not be liked by South Indians.|It is a good hotel for the price and if you are coming from Raipur airport kindly ask for a taxi at the hotel. It is 500 rupees less than the fare charged while asking a airport taxi.

Stayed at Hotel Lovely Palace in December, Hotel is right in the center of the city near the railway station as well as the industrial area. I stayed in a deluxe room, rooms are spaciuos and have good furniture. AC's need a little make-over as in winters you would like to control the temperature of the room, A/c's were just making the room cool. Food was good and the service was prompt. In an all, a satisfactory experience to stay at the price.
