Hands down one of the nicest, well-thought out places l've ever stayed in Bali. The attention to detail is absolutely insane. The staff is incredible and the food is all incredibly delicious. Highly recommend getting a massage at their spa. The atmosphere curated at Samanvaya is so peaceful, I never wanted to leave. The staff is amazing & makes you feel like you're at home. You'll see beautiful views of the rice fields from every angle of the property. We stayed at their new villa with wellness pools and would 100% recommend to everyone! This place is truly magic.

Staying at Samanvaya in Sidemen was an unforgettable experience--pure paradise nestled in Bali's most breathtaking landscapes. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warm hospitality and a serene atmosphere that instantly put us at ease. We stayed in the Samudra villa, and it was nothing short of incredible. The design blends luxury with nature, offering stunning views of the lush rice terraces and surrounding mountains. The private infinity pool was the perfect place to unwind, and every detail of the villa was thoughtfully curated for ultimate comfort. The resort's facilities are exceptional--beautiful infinity pools, an incredible spa, and a restaurant serving delicious farm-to-table meals. The staff went above and beyond to ensure every moment was perfect, making us feel truly special. If you're looking for a peaceful escape in Bali with breathtaking scenery, top-notch service, and a luxurious yet authentic experience, Samanvaya is the place to be. We can't wait to return!

If you are looking for a quiet, relaxing holiday, with good food, decadent rooms, exceptional gardens and pools, and brilliant service, then Samanvaya is for you! We spent 9 nights at Samanvaya in April/May 25. ||Our favourite thing about our stay was the staff. They were kind and very attentive to our needs. When there were a couple of small issues, staff were onto it without delay. Best of all, Samanyaya employs local people. There wasn't one time during our stay when we passed a staff member, be it reception, wait staff, porters, cleaners or gardeners, there wasn't a genuine greeting and a big smile! ||Being there for a long stay meant we got to know a few of the staff well. The bulk of our interactions were with Purna, Mang Ari and Anita. Their genuine thoughfulness, service and curiosity lifted our spirits every day. But honestly, we can't thank every single staff member enough for making our stay so enjoyable (including those behind the scenes). You are all very professional, dedicated, friendly, efficient and wonderful people who run a tight ship. ||Breakfast was a joyful experience every day be it in the restaurant or our room.|We enjoyed working our way through the menu, of which there was plenty of variety. ||Happy hour at the top pool each evening was a nice touch too. One night, we were gifted with a Balinese dance to celebrate an important Hindu ceremony. ||The gardens and pools are meticulously kept and have a magical tropical feel both day and night. It's a credit to the grounds team who also maintain habitat for the enchanting local wildlife that was abundant here - birds, tiny bats, geckos, lizards, frogs, and a miriad of stunning butterflies and dragonflies! ||The spa and treatments were lovely. There are also day trips organised by reception to do if you can bring yourself to leave the resort. We chose to stay in and enjoyed some spa treatments and the personal Yoga and chakra balancing with Komang, the local healer. Utterly divine. Thanks Komang! ||Asri Restaurant is next level beautiful, day or night with the food and service commensurate with its high review rating. ||The gift shop Kolectif was lovely, although there was no bartering there and expect to pay Western prices. ||Sadly, we only discovered the attached coffee shop, Citrus and Vine, on our last few days. Here, yummy gelatos and toasties filled the spot. ||Sideman is a small village. It is not busy at all. Walking the streets, the locals are all friendly and we felt very safe there.|But be aware, it is a rural village where rice farming is prevalent. There is significant smoke from burning at times. ||One little thing that would be nice is to not have cigarette smoking in the common areas. We found that it interrupted our enjoyment a few times, and we had to move. But honestly, that was our only gripe! ||Thank you Samanvaya for an extraordinary holiday We will be back!

From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm smiles and exceptional hospitality. The setting is stunning lush rice terraces, serene mountain views, and a tranquil atmosphere that instantly soothes your soul. The accommodations are beautifully designed, blending traditional Balinese style with modern comfort. Every detail feels intentional, from the luxurious outdoor bathrooms to the private terraces that overlook the valley. It's clear that the resort is committed to sustainability and supporting the local community, which made our stay feel even more meaningful.

This hotel exceeded my expectations in every regard. The property is absolutely stunning, and the room was both beautiful and exceptionally clean. The staff were outstanding in professionalism and hospitality. The restaurant was excellent. I highly recommend including breakfast in your reservation, as it offers a fantastic variety of high-quality, delicious options. I also cocktails and dinner at the restaurant, both of which were exceptional. The spa experience was equally impressive; the massage I received was remarkable . One of the most appealing aspects of this property is that it is an adults-only hotel, which greatly contributes to its serene and peaceful atmosphere, free from the usual noise and activity associated with family resorts. Having stayed at several luxury hotels in Sidemen , I can confidently say that this one stands out as a superior experience. It offers a higher level of luxury, comfort, and service. I highly recommend staying here.

Nice little houses with a charming atmosphere. The beds, however, are not very comfortable, and the blankets seem to be made of synthetic material that doesn't allow for much breathability.|The staff is very kind and polite; a bit of extra training in customer service could enhance the overall guest experience.|The location is lovely, offering a beautiful view of the rice fields and surrounding mountains.|The food at the restaurant is very good. However, some menu items are marked as gluten-free when they are not truly so. That said, the staff is very attentive to food allergies and always double-checks with the kitchen, which is greatly appreciated.|Overall, it's a very nice place, but it is marketed as a luxury stay, and in my opinion, it doesn't fully meet those standards.||Ps.: The staff member Mr. Purna, for the friends Puma, deserves an extra star!

I had the most incredible stay at Samanvaya Luxury Resort & Spa! The entire resort exudes tranquility and luxury, making it the perfect retreat for relaxation. Waking up to the serene beauty of Bali's countryside every morning was a dream! The private pool was the perfect place to unwind and soak in the peaceful atmosphere. The staff were exceptional, going above and beyond to make sure every detail of my stay was perfect. Their kindness and attentiveness truly made me feel special. If you're looking for a luxurious, serene, and unforgettable getaway in Bali, I cannot recommend Samanvaya enough! It was truly a piece of paradise, and I can't wait to return.
