Sovereign Bali Hotel

Very good hotel! It's conveniently located close to the airport. The staff are friendly and helpful, which added to the overall experience. Breakfast starts at 6 AM, which was fantastic for getting an early start to the day. I stayed here for 5 days, and it was a relaxing experience. Just a heads up: you need to bring an adapter if you want to use the electrical outlets, but you can borrow one from the front desk for 50,000 rupiah, which you can get back when you return the adapter. The hotel itself is superb--clean and with a pleasant aroma throughout. Highly recommend!

*Disappointing Experience at Grand Sovereath Hotel Bali* I had intended to give this hotel a positive review, but my experience at checkout completely changed my opinion. While the hotel's proximity to the airport and affordable price point are advantages, the property itself is old and tired. My stay was brief, arriving at 8 pm and departing at 6 am, but the bed was comfortable, and the TV worked as expected. However, the treatment I received at checkout was appalling. After inspecting my room, the staff presented me with a photo of a towel with a minor smudge, allegedly caused by my makeup. They demanded payment for the towel, which I found outrageous. To make matters worse, the staff member then proceeded to wash the towel under the tap, rendering the issue moot. As a frequent traveler to Bali, I've never encountered such an unreasonable and accusatory approach. To potential guests, be warned: even minor stains on towels or sheets may result in additional charges. Furthermore, be aware that using the pool incurs an extra fee. Unfortunately, I will not be returning to this hotel, and I advise others to exercise caution when considering a stay here.

The whole experience was amazing--just incredibly good!The hotel may not be the newest, and my shower could have been a bit more modern, but for my one-night stay, it was totally fine. The check-in process was super easy, and the two young guys at the reception were unbelievably helpful, kind, and always up for a quick chat or joke.The breakfast was very good. I loved the wide variety of options. As a German, I found the mild version of nasi goreng already spicy enough, but the flavor was absolutely delicious. The waitresses in the restaurant were always nice, polite, and helpful, and they were also open for a little chat or joke, which made the experience even better.I can highly recommend this hotel and will definitely come back when I plan my next trip to Bali!

Hotel Sovereign has a convenient location right next to the airport, which makes it perfect for a quick stay before or after a flight. The service was excellent--the staff were attentive, friendly, and went out of their way to ensure I was comfortable.The room itself was nice and had a cozy vibe, but it did have a noticeable moldy smell, which was a bit off-putting. The hotel could definitely benefit from some renovation to freshen things up and improve the overall experience.Despite these issues, I appreciated the effort the staff put into making my stay pleasant. If they update the facilities, this would be a great option for travelers!

We stayed at this hotel from 27-28th April and the room was appalling and a total disappointment compared to the photos we see in the website. Carpet was stained, the TV had 12 large light circles on the screen! I pulled the blinds down in the bathroom and some small insects flew out... bath towels were clean but they were worn out. However bed was comfy and we didn't have any issues in checking out. Location is very convenient to airport.

The room is smelly and very humid, especially the toilet. Also, have bad experience of check out and storage the luggage. They inspect the room before letting us check out, but when we back to take our luggage. They said the bed sheet has stains need us to pay $45, which is more expensive than a night. However, the morning staff was helpful and accommodating to fulfill our needs such as renting a motorcycle.

A great location near the airport and souvenir shops. The room is quite spacious but requires several repairs, and the flat-screen TV is outdated. The bathroom also has some issues. Renovations are needed, and the maintenance staff should be improved.
