Melasti Beach Resort & Spa

Good location with only a short walk to the beach. The appartments were a great size with amenities that were useful. Clean linens, clean bathrooms, kitchenette and social areas. The showers had good pressure & temperature control and excellent air conditioning. Bonus was the large water dispenser of hot or cold water.

We had booked the entire complex for a 50th birthday celebration. The location is great. We had everything close by that we could need. Apartments range from one to three bedrooms and are all well maintained and clean. Serviced daily. Pool is great has shaded areas and full sun. Couldn't fault the facilities.

These apartments are amazing so spacious and clean beds are comfortable. Apartments are nice and quiet. Perfect location beach is only a short walk and great restaurants and shopping are just out the front. staff are amazing always friendly and helpful. They have had the same staff working here for many years and they are very trustworthy. It is our home away from home

Great location and friendly staff. Apartments are very comfortable and roomy and serviced daily.we usually stay for one to two months and it's a bit cramped after a couple of weeks so Beach Melati gives us room to move. The location is great on Jl Padma Utara. It's a short 5 minute walk to the beach down a laneway next to Ossotel. There's good restaurants, cafes, massage shop, chemists and shops very close by.

Where do I start. Last time I stayed at the Melasti it was 13 years ago. I booked here again because the rooms were comfortable and good... 13 years ago. They certainly are not that way now. The beds were hard and the pillows worse. I say beds as we moved rooms 3 times in the 1st 24 hours. The staff were fantastic and were trying their best. Air conditioning that didn't work, mini fridges that didn't work, TV's were hit and miss, BLACK mould in the bathroom ceilings. Exposed electrical wiring in the rooms. OMG! The place is just dangerous. Hubby having a background in electronics was shocked at how dangerous the power was. I have been to Bali 6 times in total and have never had such terrible accommodation. It really impacted our holiday. Every morning I was up at about 5am because my back was so painful from the horrible beds. The water pressure was non existant in the shower. Also the water was tepid at best. You actually got cold in the shower. The shower was in the bath, which was a very high step in and out. Not a huge problem except water would run off the guttering around the bath and flood the floor, which became so slippery and dangerous when wet. The cistern for the loo took over 30 mins to fill between flushes. Half the time it didn't even flush. We had to bucket water into the cistern to be able to flush. Reading the responses from the owner of this hotel he promises to fix all the issues but the truth is nothing is being done. This place needs some major money spent to just make it safe and habitable. The location on the beach is great and the grounds and pools are lovely. The staff are fantastic and try their hardest but when the place is in such disrepair there isn't much that they can do.

These apartments are great. Big living area and bedrooms, microwave, big fridge. It is nice and quiet while also being very central to everything. Staff were very helpful and attentive to any requests. Great for families or groups. Highly recommend :)

We have stayed here several times now and the service and staff are amazing. |The appartments are very well maintained and when you ask for anything the staff are very quick to provide you, your needs.|Jinae is also able to organise for money changer to come to your apartment as well as a person to organise your phone sim. This is amazing and takes the stress out of you getting scammed elsewhere on the streets.

firstly the staff as a whole were lovely, friendly and helpful, only one or two were the exception. |This hotel is completely run down and needs either a major renovation or a bulldozer. Ceilings are leaking when it rains, bathroom ceiling was starting to fall in and debris was falling onto the floor. sink did not drain properly. Rooms are dark and lighting was quite inadequate.|Buffet breakfast was cancelled during our stay and replaced with a very simple breakfast that was always served nearly cold, food was not good and choices poor, tea and coffee very weak, we didn't realise how bad this all was until we ventured next door to the Padma and had a look around and paid for their buffet breakfast and couldn't believe the difference, astounding! |The three pools available were nice, seemed clean and water clear.
