In one sentence, stay as many miles away from this place as possible. If zero star was possible, that would have been too much for the place. Let's start with the toilets. While the rooms are on the stilt, surprisingly toilets are not. They are good two and half feet down to be climbed down in three stairs. With no electric the entire night, you can only pray for your limbs. However, with leeches even inside the room - they have a faux grass carpet, ideal for the leeches - whether you will want to get out of your bed at all is another question. (We had to remove a leech from my daughter's leg.) The drain pipe of the basin abruptly ends as soon as it hits the floor. Every time you use the basin, it will be all over the floor. The flush has so little water that you will have to pour water in a bucket. And the tap is good ten feet away from the commode. The rooms are a study in being Spartan. One room had two queen size beds for four people and the other had one for two persons. Both had a wooden table, two stools and a small wall mirror. No place to keep your clothes and other stuff. The only good thing were the mattresses, good enough even for my slipped discs. The flooring is of bamboo covered with a green synthetic grass carpet. But the bamboo flooring has gone missing in places and they are nicely covered under the green carpet. So you can have a free experience of walking through a minefield simulator. There were plenty of cracks, nay gaping holes, for you to have a natural time with the insects. The bigger room had two fans, but only one switchboard at one end of the room. And an extension cord is the most eco unfriendly object you can think of! However, we were soon relieved of the misery of having fans and not being able to use them, as there were no power from 11 pm to 7:30 am. And the toilet had no hot water. They were considerate enough to provide us with only one immersion rod for two rooms at hundred metres apart. And that pit well of bathroom did not have a power outlet! So you fill the bucket, carry them over the stairs, across the room to connect to the power supply. Then after 15 minutes of low voltage electric, you will get non cold water, that is if you are lucky enough not to lose power in between. The food menu is limited and food oily. There need not be any relation between what you ordered and what you get. Before that you have to try your luck to reach the reception on their mobile number and have someone appear at your room at their sweet speed. The outside is nicely bucolic, with a small stream flowing between two rows of cottages. You can find mother hen managing her brood of table tennis ball size chickens. That was the only good thing about the resort, if you still have the mood to appreciate those finer things of life. Oh, there was another positive aspect of the nightlong powercut. You were spared of the sound demon from the DJ night!

We stayed at the bamboo cottage right beside the small creek during the month of February. The place is awesome with good food, but the rooms could have been better. During the cold nights the cold seeps in through the cracks of the bamboo flooring, I would recommend adding floor boards to give it a sturdier feeling and also help is keeping the cold at bay. Good place for couple of friends or riders\bikers to enjoy a halt amidst the quite.

The place is absolutely beautiful, you are definitely going to have a great time. You can visit with family, friends, or partner. However, very disappointed with the food. Quality and quantity of food didn't match up with the price. For example, the quantity of a simple veg Pakora (nothing fancy or unique) was some 10, 12 pieces and it's price was 200, also the quality is same as any street vendor. So yup, very costly, so it would be great if they can provide quality also.
